Chaos Magic

CHAOS PLAGUE. Not only is every enemy within radius inflicted with a terrible degenerative disease, but their hit points are instantly reduced to up 50% of their current value. On weaker units, this is of little import, but on powerful creatures like Heroes, Titans, Generals & Dragons, this loss of hit points can be devastating.
MORPH TOWER. All towers (both enemy and friendly) within the caster's radius are affected by this spell. It randomly changes speeds, hits, damage types & accuracy of all the towers. One should take care casting it though, since there is a chance that it might make your own towers weaker or enemy towers stronger!
LEARN SPELL. The caster randomly learns a new spell for the duration of this battle. This can give a Chaos Mage a great advantage, particularly if he learns a spell that counters an enemy (such as Resist Fire). Strangely though, no matter how many Grandmaster Chaos Mages have tried, none have ever been able to successfully learn the more powerful Alchemists' Create Item spells!
WILDFIRE. The caster shoots out Black Lightning that randomly arcs from one enemy to another, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

Ice Magic

CALM. This spell removes all manner of spell effects (both beneficial and harmful) from all units in the area of effect.
ICE FLOW. This spell gives the caster an attack that shoots bolts of ice at enemies, doing carry-through damage (like a Ballista or Barbarian's spear). The spell lasts for 1 minute.
FREEZE MAGIC. This spell has two effects. Firstly, it stops all mana regenerating for all units in the battle, including heroes. Secondly, it makes Ice Magic spells easier to cast.
ICE STORM. This is the icy version of Armageddon, hitting enemies and buildings with bolts of ice. It may not be quite as destructive as Armageddon, but it is cheaper and easier to cast.
Warlords Battlecry II has 10 spheres of magic, each containing 10 spells. The spheres are:

  • Healing
  • Alchemy
  • Chaos
  • Ice
  • Illusion
  • Nature
  • Necromancy
  • Pyromancy
  • Rune
  • Summoning
  • Common sphere (3 spells)
