Hero Specialties
DEATHKNIGHT: Deathknights, particularly Daemon Deathknights are some of the most feared heroes, since not only do they command Chaos Spells, but they get huge personal damage upgrades. In single combat, they can easily deal more damage than most other heroes. They may also learn Ice Spells.
MERCHANT: Merchants are masters at the art of getting things cheap. They have upgrades available for their Merchant skill, and also the ability to upgrade their Trade percentages at Markets & Inns. They are most powerful when leading resource-hungry sides like Daemons, Dwarves & Fey.
ICE MAGE: Ice Mages specialize (and can even gain Grandmastery in) Ice Spells. As well as having many spells, they also gain damage & armor upgrades making them formidable in combat too.
SHAMAN: Shamans weild the wild forces of Chaos. They can even gain Grandmastery in Chaos Magic, which rather than bring it under control, only serves to give it more wildly varying effects. They are also able to learn a small amount of Nature magic.
