Most Goblins lead a miserable existence, either ending
up used as pawns on the battlefield, or being eaten
as snackfood by hungry Ogres.
It is little wonder then that many Goblins aspire to
something greater - to end their lives in a blaze of
incredible wet & squishy glory. These Goblins will construct
devices known as Gobshooters. Like a Ballista, these
Gobshooters hurl missiles at the enemy, but instead of
Ballista bolts, the Goblins fling themselves.
It is widely agreed upon by Goblins that the 5 seconds
of flying through the heavens easily makes up for
a life of toil & drudgery. Some Goblins even survive to do
it all again.

Most Kobolds are cowardly creatures who seldom venture into battle.
A clever Orkish Warlord, by the name of Gurblagg however,
after noticing that Kobolds could spy a potential meal from half a mile away,
realized that they had extremely keen eyesight.
He stole a load of Dwarven crossbows, and trained his Kobolds to use
them. Gurblagg was quite pleased with himself, since now the Kobolds served
3 purposes: they built his towers, fought his enemies (albeit from a distance),
and even provided tasty snacks for the Ogres after the battle.
