Infinite Interactive is an independent development studio, located in Melbourne, Australia. Founded in 1992 by Steve Fawkner, we have a strong focus on making engaging games, with a particular focus on strategy, role-playing and the puzzle genre.
When we released Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords in 2007, a new genre was born: Puzzle/RPG. Before release there were many doubts on whether the genre would succeed, but after the release it was clear that Puzzle Quest would go down in history as one of the great games. The game became such a hit that it sold out all over the world, made famous by this Penny Arcade comic. The game received an exceptional response from both players and media, with sites such as Gamespot and IGN awarding it with an editor’s choice.
Before the emergence of Puzzle Quest, Infinite Interactive had already built a strong community of fans thanks to the Warlords franchise. Warlords IV: Heroes of Etheria is the latest in the famous turn-based strategy series, one that has existed since Fawkner first released Warlords in 1989. The real-time strategy Warlords Battlecry shook up the RTS genre with the addition of role-playing elements, including the ability to level up your hero.
Infinite Interactive aspires to continue to innovate, as well as build on the strong foundations that we have laid down in the past. We are currently developing an unannounced game which is set for launch in 2013.
